spooky cat silhouette paintings

Here’s how I paint my cats. I draw a little half circle and add the pointy ears. Then I paint straight down for the front of the body, with one cheeky little paw out, and then a gentle curve for the back following on into a tail.

How I paint a cat silhouette

I then fill in the body with the curve of the back leg, and voila! I have a silhouette of a cat. I am painting cat silhouettes in many different variations for this entirely new series of cats on thin wires, just chilling together beneath a vibrant sky.

This series will be available soon as prints and other products my shop.
