I did a thing today, and silently thanked Megan Auman yet again for teaching me how to take photos of myself! I needed a new headshot, because the one I had been using was a few years old, and none of them showed me at work.
So, I set up my camera, took a few shots in different poses, and ended up with these two. They both show me ‘working’ on a food illustration, with a few of my prints in the background. It’s also appropriate that I am wearing one of Megan’s necklaces in the shot… its simple elegance is one of my favourite things about it, and has made it a go-to piece in my wardrobe.

What do you think? I’ve already sent them off to the place they were needed, so it’s no longer moot, but constructive criticism welcome for the next time! Because, of course, just a few days after I took these (last-minute, might I add!) I dyed my hair red again. So now I look different. Ah well, I’ll take more shots when someone needs them!
